My advice is take this opportunity to build stronger personal relationships with staff and clients:
- People are usually more vulnerable during a crisis, so this is actually a great opportunity to build personal relationships instead of just professional ones
- Stay connected with your staff as well as your clients, to let them know that you care and are in the same boat with them
- Maybe one thing I would do differently if I knew then what I know now: I probably should have been a little bit more sensitive with my staff. Although I wasn’t too concerned about the virus itself, it doesn’t mean others aren’t.
