The inspiration for ‘China Bites’ was Seth Godin’s daily blog on 31/10/18 (incidentally, my daughter’s birthday which seemed like a good day to birth a new idea!) in which he pronounced The first 1,000 are the most difficult and encouraged all of his readers and followers to become a ‘daily blogger’. In his words: “Even if no one reads your blog, the act of writing it is clarifying, motivating and (eventually) fun”.
Today I reach my 300th issue and I can honestly say that it has been fun and not as hard or difficult as I expected. We are living through momentous times and, whatever you think of China, you will surely agree that it is, and has been, top of mind for all of us as we look into the future and wonder how everything will turn out. So I’ve never run out of things to say and the comments, feedback and engagement from regular readers has been awesome. Keep them coming!
As I went for my early morning walk today, I looked out over a deserted Sydney Harbour (see below) and wondered what I’ll be writing about if/when I get to my 1,000 issue. Any predictions?
